Can you play Lost Ark on Mac?
Probably yes. The single-player game should run on a Mac; online play is not expected to work, because of Easy Anti-Cheat and AnyBrain.

Why Lost Ark is rated “Should work”
Valve rates Lost Ark “Playable” on Steam Deck, which usually means it runs, but may need some tweaks. That is the main reason it is rated “Should work” here.
It uses DirectX 11, which Sommelier translates to Metal with its own graphics layer. That works on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
Online play uses Easy Anti-Cheat and AnyBrain, and on a Mac it does not let you in. Play offline and you are fine.
