Why S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl won’t run on Mac

Can I play S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl on Mac with Sommelier?
No. Sommelier tells you this before you download the game, so you don’t spend 6 GB on it.
Is there a workaround?
Not a reliable one. Apple Silicon Macs can’t run Windows directly, and anti-cheat like usually blocks virtual machines too. We don’t recommend trying to get around it: it can get your account banned.
Will S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl ever work on Mac?
Only if the publisher changes its anti-cheat or the game’s Mac support. Sommelier shows the new status on this page and in the app when that happens.
